Dear Bel Aire Estates Residents,

The Bel Aire Estates HOA Board recently met to discuss several matters affecting our community. We would like to provide everyone with a brief update and share a few important reminders as we continue working together to maintain and improve our neighborhood.

 

Front Entrance and Median Maintenance

 

The Board discussed the condition of the front entrance, marquee area, and median. We are currently following up with VDOT regarding the completion of mowing and cleanup in the median area, including debris that remains from previous work.

 

The Board is also obtaining a landscaping proposal for seasonal maintenance and improvements around the neighborhood marquee. This will include fall cleanup and recommendations for spring beautification.

 

HOA Dues

 

Thank you to everyone who continues to keep their HOA dues current. The Board is reviewing outstanding accounts and will be following the established collection process for delinquent balances. Homeowners with an outstanding balance may be contacted directly regarding their account.

 

Property Maintenance and HOA Bylaws

 

As a reminder, all homeowners are responsible for maintaining their property in accordance with the existing Bel Aire Estates HOA bylaws and community requirements. The Board will be placing greater emphasis on consistent enforcement of our existing requirements. This includes general property and yard maintenance, signage, and other requirements contained in the governing documents. Our goal is not to create new restrictions, but to consistently apply the standards that are already in place and help preserve the appearance and value of our community.

 

Architectural Review Board (ARB) Requests

 

Before making exterior changes to your property, please review the HOA requirements to determine whether an Architectural Review Board (ARB) request is required. Exterior modifications that are subject to architectural review should be submitted to the HOA before work begins. The HOA Board will serve as the Architectural Review Committee and review submitted requests in accordance with the governing documents. If you are unsure whether your planned project requires approval, please contact the Board before beginning the work.

 

Upcoming HOA Meeting

 

We are working to schedule our next community meeting for November 7 or November 14, preferably between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. The VFW is being considered as the meeting location, and we will provide the confirmed date, time, and location once arrangements have been finalized.

 

We encourage residents to attend. These meetings are an opportunity to hear updates, ask questions, raise community concerns, and participate in discussions about Bel Aire Estates.
